As part of the heating controls of your home, you'll find a programmable clock. This lets you time your heating to come on and turn off at certain points of the day.

If you're not at home during the day, you can time your heating to come on in the morning and in the evening. This gets your home to a comfortable temperature when you wake up, and before you return home (which is important during the colder months!)

If you're at home during the day, you can leave the programmer on for 24 hours. This will let you control the heating through the room thermostat. It's important to make sure your heating controls work for your lifestyle.

Remember that small adjustments to heating controls might save money on your energy bills.
