Together, they let customers and stakeholders review our performance and make comparisons with other associations.
Self-evaluation
Every year, we complete a self-evaluation exercise. Self-evaluation is an important part of the Regulatory Framework for Housing Associations in Wales [PDF], where the Welsh Government sets out nine standards covering our activities.
The evaluation process is based on how we’ve engaged with our customers and how we’ve assessed our current performance. This helps paint an honest picture of:
- how we're performing
- whether we're delivering successful outcomes for our customers
- what we need to do to improve
Overall, we believe we’re performing well. Especially in areas such as:
- providing high quality accommodation
- setting affordable rent and service charges
- supporting customers to influence services
However, we know we need to do more to improve and are currently working on:
- a redesigned repairs service
- reviewing our service charges
- embedding a place-based approach to housing and community management
