Step-by-step: What to do if you have no power in your home
- Check your meter to make sure you have credit available.
- Check if there is a power cut in your area by calling 105, or visiting the National Grid website.
- If there’s no issues with the above checks, there might be a fault in your home. Find your Fusebox in your home and check the switches. If one switch is in the down position, this means the circuit is tripped. Push the switch into the upright position to restore the power.
- If there is still a fault, the switch will trip again. Unplug any appliances you were using at the time of the power outage and contact us for further help and support.
