We had some very special guests at Duffryn Energy Centre last week!

We had a fantastic morning with pupils from Tredegar Park Primary School. Sixty pupils attended to tour the boiler house, and learn about the importance of sustainable energy. This aligns with their current learning project about environment, sustainability, and 'Tomorrows World.' They were also able to make connections between the energy centre, and the heating and hot water in their homes.

Despite the rain, we had lots of smiling faces! We were definitely kept on our toes with some of their questions. It was fantastic to have such a curious group eager to learn about their local energy centre.

Ambreen Badat of Tredegar Park Primary School said:

“Just a little thank you for yesterday! The staff said the children had a great time and how great you all were. I hope this is something we can carry on for different year groups!”
