We know that, throughout our lives, we can find ourselves in challenging circumstances. It's during these times that we can find it hard to ask for help. Or, if we do need support, we're not quite sure on who to turn to.

We've all experienced huge changes in the past few years. From the Coronavirus pandemic to the cost-of-living crisis, we've all needed help.

At Newport City Homes, we're passionate about placing customers at the heart of all we do. We know that life gets hard, which is why we're here to help you.

How we can help

This week is Safeguarding Adults Week 2023. We're taking this chance to share the support that you have at Newport City Homes. We're also here to share the fantastic support available across Newport.

We also know that you're the experts in your communities, and it's important that we hear what you have to say. We want to work with you to make sure we're giving you the services you need. We're always open to feedback, so please get in touch if you think of improvements we can make.

The NCH App

We've recently launched the new NCH App. We've designed this with you in mind. It has key features intended to make your life easier. From booking repairs, to checking your rent payments, your new NCH App will save you time, so you can get on with the important things in life. This is available for all social renting customers.

Money matters

We know that the cost-of-living has put enormous pressure on people and families. When it comes to paying rent, it can be a challenging time. We're here to help you find a way to pay that suits you. Your dedicated Customer Account Manager can help you get financially back on track. We can support with budgeting and work with you to make sure you're claiming the right benefits.

If you're in rent arrears, then we're here to help you get your money back on track. When you contact us, we'll help you find a repayment plan that works for you. We'll always make sure your repayments are what you can afford. We'll never ask for more than your budget can handle.

Staying safe in your community

Your Neighbourhood Manager can help with your tenancy. They'll be welcoming you into your new home, and they'll continue to support you when you need it.

Your Neighbourhood Manager is also on hand to help you stay safe in your community. Sometimes, anti-social behaviour can affect our well-being and safety. We want to make sure that your home, and your wider community, is a great place to live.

Your Neighbourhood Manager will help you with harassment and verbal abuse incidents. They will also support with intimidation incidents, and noise nuisance complaints. If you have concerns about criminal activity in your community, please let us know. We can work with the police and other agencies to resolve the situation.

We're coming to you

This week, we'll be out and about in your communities. We want to meet with you, build relationships, and learn how we can best keep in touch with you. If you'd like us to visit you, please get in touch.
