Valuer

There have been 51 valuations carried out, all of which are at different stages of this process. Valuations are progressing along and will continue into 2023. To date we have completed on 10 buy-backs.

Tophat Visit

Newport City Homes, Oxford Architects and members from the residents steering group went to Kent to look at TopHat site at Kitchener Barracks. We walked around their site and were able to look in a 3-bed house and a 2-bed flat. These houses are module homes and are made in a factory and transported to site and put together. The visit was very informative and we will be looking to get house types from TopHat to see if they fit in within our proposed designs for Somerton.

Refurb

We are putting all the information together for our tender pack to go out to contractors to put bids in for the works on the 2 pilot properties.

We are looking to hold our next community engagement event at The Hope Centre on Thursday 30th March – 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Invites will be sent out closer to the date of the event.
