Santa and one of his Elves visited Newport City Homes’ Nexus House yesterday to pick up a special collection!
Over the last few weeks NCH colleagues have been donating gifts into sacks at their offices, as well as raising almost £775 in donations, that was then doubled through match funding from the Charitable Donation Fund, that was spent on even more toys!
Santa then travelled across the city to handover all of the items to the Raven House Trust. NCH staff wanted to help the charity who run a food bank and sell second-hand furniture from their unit on Cromwell Road.
The team at Ravens House Trust loved meeting him and will share the gifts with the children of the many families they support across the city.
A HUGE thanks to everyone that donated - these presents will really make a difference. And of course, thanks Santa and Elf for your help!
