Our community benefits fund has helped a not-for-profit indoor skateboarding park open in Newport city centre.

No-Comply Newport. was given £2,000 through the support of MVR Solutions who are building new homes for us at Griffin Island.

It means young people and adults can enjoy the sport all year round. They run a wide-range of sessions to encourage the community to take up skateboarding including slots for learners, over 30s and girls only.

As a bonus the centre gives a 25% discount on sessions for Newport City Homes tenants. Watch Alan Cains chat about skateboarding and how the community is so supportive to everyone who takes part.
