This week, the finalists for this year’s Finance Award Wales were announced, and we’re over the moon to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories!
Our entire Finance team has been nominated for Public Sector team of the Year, and our very own Sophie Taylor, Deputy Director of Finance and Procurement, has been nominated for Young Finance Director of the Year!
The awards ceremony, which celebrates excellence in the finance sector, will be held on May 12th, 2023, at City Hall Cardiff.
Gareth Yeoman-Evans, Executive Director of Finance and Resources at NCH, said:
“This is a huge honour for us as NCH, and I’m so proud of Sophie and the team for all the work they do. Being recognised on this level means we really are up there with the best in the sector, and it’s one of the reasons we’re in the strong financial position we are.”
Ken Poole, Head of Economic Development at Cardiff Council and Chair of the judges, commented on the shortlisting, saying:

The finalists have demonstrated exceptional skills, innovation, and dedication, and we congratulate them on their achievements and look forward to meeting them in person soon.”
