This week, the customers of Milton Court had a visit from Gwent Police 'We Don’t Buy Crime Team', Huw and Lisa, and the Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator Natalie Lang.

The team are helping to prevent crime and keep communities safe across Gwent and are looking for customers of Milton Court to form a Neighbourhood Watch Team.

Huw and Lisa shared that they can fully fund packs of SmartWater to every customer within Milton. SmartWater is a forensic marking solution which contains a unique signature it -

• Enables the return of property to its rightful owners
• Helps to identify and link offenders to crimes
• 100% conviction rate in contested court cases
• Strong deterrent to offenders
• 74% of acquisitive crime offenders would not break into a building where a SmartWater sign was on display

They also provided us with two signs that we can install to the front of the building which will show the public that the building is marked with SmartWater, this is a great deterrent.

Collaboratively working with partners has reduced the amount of Anti-social behaviour at Milton Court resulting in customers feeling safer in their homes.
