We asked some of our apprentices to talk about what life is like at Newport City Homes.
Those were just two of their memorable answers. They all told us they were so glad they have been able to learn on the job with NCH.
This week (7-13 February) is National Apprentice Week. It’s a chance to shine the spotlight on the value that apprenticeships bring to businesses and learners in Wales.
And here at NCH we love helping people get a head start in their careers. Since 2009 we have employed 113 apprentices in our trades. Over the last two years we have created opportunities for apprenticeship in our office-based teams including customer service and finance.
Keep an eye on our website and social media this week to hear from several colleagues who are apprentices now or have completed their qualifications and now have a job with us.
Apprentice opportunities with NCH
Our next recruitment campaign is likely to be in Summer 2022. We do it around this time to be close to the term time dates of local colleges.
