It's been over two years since I joined Newport City Homes as a Project Manager. Currently, I'm the Property Services Manager in the Maintenance Team. I manage our maintenance, voids, and disrepair surveyors. I also contract manage our reactive maintenance framework contractors.

Before joining #TeamNCH, I worked in the private sector as a Project Manager. What attracted me to social housing is the chance to apply my skills and experience in an organisation that positively impacts people's lives. Every day, I’m helping to create safe, well-maintained homes for the community and tackle challenges that need technical expertise. All this is fuelled by a passion to make a difference.

No two days are the same! On any given day, I might be coordinating emergency responses, giving technical guidance to my colleagues, liaising with environmental health, or getting involved in projects to improve the organisation. My role is dynamic and ever-changing, and the variety makes my role challenging but incredibly rewarding.

Life at NCH is both fulfilling and inspiring. I value the chance to work with talented colleagues in a collaborative and inclusive culture. What's most important to me is the ability to contribute to meaningful change, ensuring the organisation is going in the right direction to support and improve the lives of our customers.
