Getting Started on your CV

Lots of potential employers ask for applicants to submit a CV.

This is basically an advertisement for your skills and experience.

Your CV must:

  • Be clear, well laid out and well presented
  • Be word processed
  • Be a maximum of two sides of A4 paper
  • Be to the point and factual

You need to include the following details in your CV:

  • Personal details
  • Your full name
  • Address
  • Telephone/mobile number
  • Email address
  • A personal profile
  • Qualifications
  • Training
  • Skills 

In addition to this, you will need to provide two people as references.
