We're writing out to all customers and residents at Melin and Newport City Homes, with information about the merger process, what to expect and how to have your say. These letters will land with customers and residents from 24th April 2024, either in the post or by email depending on each person's preference.

We know how important it is that our customers and residents are engaged and supported throughout this process.

We have chosen to work with an experienced Independent Tenant Advisor, Keith Edwards, in partnership with ProMo-Cymru who have been appointed by our panel of engaged customers to support you while we work through each stage of the merger process. ProMo-Cymru are a registered charity and social enterprise; whose profits are invested back into community projects.

Keith can help you get any information you need, answer your questions and represent you throughout the merger process in a way that’s reliable, and independent from either Melin or Newport City Homes.

You can get in touch with Keith on 07949 443 039 or by email at ITA@promo.cymru

We are also putting together a panel of people made up of customers and residents from both Melin and Newport City Homes, to help us make important decisions, and ensure that your views are heard. If you’re interested in joining this panel, please get in touch with your Independent Tenant Advisor for more information.

Have your say

There are lots of ways to have your say, and we want to hear your views.

Fill in our survey online by scanning the QR code in your letter, or complete the paper form included with your letter and return it to us using the freepost envelope.

Want to chat in person?

We’re out and about at events in your communities over the next few weeks.

Come and join us at one of our engagement events.

We’ll share the results of our survey, and we’ll use what customers and residents tell us to develop a customer promise document so everyone knows what to expect from us throughout this change. We will keep all customers and residents updated on our progress.
