We know we have a responsibility to treat everyone equally, whether customer, colleague, or partner.

But for us, it goes much further.

Our strategic commitment to diversity and inclusion (D&I) sets out the steps we’re taking to create an environment that’s equal and fair for all.

There’s a lot to do, but our EDI commitment, along with our commitments to growth and environmental sustainability, will help us to meet the aims set out in our corporate strategy.

Our EDI principles

  1. Data and information at the heart of our D&I Strategic Commitment
  2. Tackling bias in our established ways of working
  3. Create an environment that means everyone feels included and can thrive
  4. Enable clear and transparent decision making
  5. Work in partnership to meet our aims

Our EDI commitment

We will:

  1. increase representation across all levels
  2. publish EDI data
  3. be an anti-racist association
  4. remove inequalities in our services
  5. educate and engage
  6. build an inclusive culture

We have clearly defined the steps we will take over the next two years to deliver on our promises.

Living and working inclusively, 2024 onwards

We have identified ongoing and long-term actions that will help us to adapt our culture, making sure that equality, diversity and inclusion is built into everything we do.
