We are Newport’s largest provider of social housing.

We own about 10,000 homes across the city including, perhaps, your next one.

It is our aim to provide homes in communities in which people want to live. We deliver services to thousands of people across the city and we are proud of our achievements and contribution to life in Newport.

If you are looking to rent a home from us, you need to register with Home Options. There are weekly adverts and you must have an active application with Home Options to bid for a property.

Questions about your housing application need to go to Newport City Council. You can do this by:

  • Visiting the Information Station (the old train station building)
  • Calling 01633 656656
  • Going to the Home Options website

Due to the large amounts of applications, we can't contact unsuccessful applicants. If you have not heard about a property a month after the advert has closed, you can assume you were unsuccessful. You can continue to bid on suitable properties until you are successful.

If you have any changes in your circumstances that may affect your tenancy, tell us by logging into your online account or completing an online form.
