Would you know if you've received a phishing email or text?
Are you struggling with keeping yourself and your family safe online when using mobile phones, tablets and computers?
Are you worried about the passwords you're using? Can they be hacked?
We can help.
The pandemic has changed how we live and how we interact with others. Almost everything is now online, which was new for many of us, and this has created opportunities for cyber criminals to attack.
The University of South Wales and Newport City Homes are offering free Community Cyber Clinics between 12 and 6pm on May 9th, 10th, and 11th at Newport Campus.
Come along to our help desks for advice on cyber security and staying safe online. The following workshops will be running each day:
12pm – Cyber Awareness and Phishing attacks - What are they and how can you protect yourself and your family.
4pm – Passwords – How to create secure passwords.
